Reflection of Unit 3 – Movie
I learned many things about the genre, history of cinema, and making a movie poster. In fact, I love movie and cinema and theater, but I never tried to learn about it. My Aha moment is the time that I learned about the history of cinema, especially the animation part because I love animation. Another interesting point about this unit was the genre slides. I always watch movie and series, but I did not know a lot about the different genre, but now I can search for different genres and find my favorites. One of my favorite things in this unit was you asked us to make a movie poster. In my view, it helps me to have a creative mind now I can use this way to my children and ask them to create their own story about something and make a poster for them. It helps them to have a creative mind too. Also, I can tell them about the history of animation and show them how animation created and how the first of animation was. I love classic cinema and now I know it started in 1950. One of the other things in this unit that was so cool for me was about the first movie made by different pictures of a horse. The Bumper Sticker: My Journey to the world of cinema. In fact, this unit was like travel for me because I discovered the first movie and animation, and in each decade, I saw different types of movies with different content.
